The Client

When the partners of FreeRain approached Happy Hour Media, they had a name and a vision: to offer a superior product at a fair price, outperforming their competitors. While their initial concept was high-level and their preferences somewhat unclear, everything began to take shape once the HHM team started asking the right questions. Through thoughtful conversations, clarifications, and strategic suggestions, the ideas began to flow, and the excitement from the client grew.

At the outset, HHM had little more than a concept to work with. However, by leveraging their deep expertise in branding and marketing, they were able to propose creative strategies to position FreeRain uniquely. They focused on targeting customers in the Pacific Northwest, an area with distinct weather-related challenges that much of the country doesn’t experience. HHM not only helped refine the brand’s identity but also identified key market differentiators that would resonate with the region’s consumers.

Ultimately, the HHM team developed a bold and dynamic brand identity for FreeRain, delivering a full suite of marketing materials including a fully-functioning website to capture leads, tradeshow booth and materials, truck wrap, uniforms, door hangers for on-site marketing and more specifically designed to attract and engage the brand’s ideal customers. The end result was a cohesive, compelling brand that stood out in a competitive market while remaining true to FreeRain’s vision of offering exceptional value and quality.

The Challenge

FreeRain, a brand-new venture, required the creation of its entire brand identity from the ground up, starting with just a name. Every element of the brand needed to be carefully crafted, from the development of its core identity to the design and production of all marketing materials. With a tight timeline, the challenge was to build a cohesive and impactful brand presence in a short period of time, ensuring it communicated the company’s vision, values, and market positioning from day one.
